Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It's kinda clunky, but it works. Still, it's just a stop-gap measure. I'm going to update the drivetrain with Campy Mirage soon enough.

My beater SS Bianchi:

I'm hunting down ugly/multicolored parts for it. I've already got some horrible bar tape and two different colored water bottle cages. I need a saddle in a goofy color and maybe a seatpost, stem and/or cranks.

if you google 'celeste porn' you get some interesting pictures that have very little to do with cycling. a bit with 'riding', but not 'cycling'.

Here is my Pista which I use on the road instead of the track. I am running it as a SS now but I have a fixed cog on the other side of the flip-flop hub. 7"+ saddle to bar drop.

Nice, it has the same paint as my '03 Al Veloce, but it's a SL3 frame.

Hehe, ok it's bare but not much celeste color visible... btw, here it's shot just after buying it - I changed to blue-sided Pro2Race tires immediately. They make a noticeable difference both in the looks of the bike and in the feel of riding.

Lambrettas & Vespas don't drip if you seal your cases correctly.
