Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Assos Skinsuit?

OK... Where the heck do you find these things? None of my LBS's carry Assos, and I can't find it online either. I know they exist, and are supposedly sold to consumers, but I can't find it anywhere.

Anyone got any idea where to get one? You'll be my hero! I've tried a Voler and Cervelo, and neither worked out very well.

Call over to Buck's Bikes and see if they can order you one. 250-9550. Btw - both El Diablo and I work there now. I've ordered Assos socks and a buddy has ordered bibs. Should be able to get a skin suit - of course it won't be cheap though. If you have any probs pm me and let me know (some employees there are better than others - that's all I'll say... There are some very helpful people there though.)

I hope you're getting something a tad more substantial than just socks.

I get to EP nifty things from time to time, but the only thing from Assos that I've gotten so far are the socks. I might see what I can get some bibs for, just to see what the big deal is.

socks are socks, i don't see much difference between the various brands, apart from how high they go.

bibs, well that's a whole other kettle of fish.

hey, their socks are quite nice actually. REALLY stretchy and light - they do feel different. I don't know that I'd pay full price for 'em though over "normal" stuff. I just had an opportunity on them so I said wtf...
