Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Sledgehammer lyrics
you could have a steam train
if you'd just lay down your tracks
you could have an aeroplane flying
if you bring your blue sky back

all you do is call me
I'll be anything you need

you could have a big dipper
going up and down, all around the bends
you could have a bumper car, bumping
this amusement never ends

I want to be your sledgehammer
why don't you call my name
oh let me be your sledgehammer
this will be my testimony
show me round your fruitcage
'cos I will be your honey bee
open up your fruitcage
where the fruit is as sweet as can be

I want to be your sledgehammer
why don't you call my name
you'd better call the sledgehammer
put your mind at rest
I'm going to be-the sledgehammer
this can be my testimony
I'm your sledgehammer
let there be no doubt about it

sledge sledge sledgehammer

I've kicked the habit
shed my skin
this is the new stuff
I go dancing in, we go dancing in
oh won't you show for me
and I will show for you
show for me, I will show for you
yea, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I do mean you
only you
you've been coming through
going to build that power
build, build up that power, hey
I've been feeding the rhythm
I've been feeding the rhythm
going to feel that power, build in you
come on, come on, help me do
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you
I've been feeding the rhythm
I've been feeding the rhythm
it's what we're doing, doing
all day and night

Ryanf has been given the opportunity to focus on his studies (spelling and grammar perhaps) and getting better on his bike over the next month instead of on the forums.

No way! I feel left out of the ban party.

Maybe now I can read something meaningful on here instead of the wanton sword fighting .. *and occasional muff diving*

Print off a copy of the forum guidelines and throw a dart at it. You're probably right.

Banned again,
Darn, now I never know who can spit a Slurpie longest between Timmmy or Ryan.I had planned an online contest to settle their personality dispute in a most immature way possible.
This censor thing is taking a real turn to the religious left.

He'll be back so you can hold your contest then.

As far as the censorship comment, if you'd like to discuss your thoughts via PM I'd be welcome to hear them.

We'll have to make this a sticky so he can see it when he gets back. Although I'm pretty sure he's lurking around here. Hi Ryanf.

Why are bannings so secret / hushhush? It seems like the best weapon to fight against what forum posters shouldn't do is to let it be known just what it was that they did. Sure, there are the forum rules, but I'd wager that most people don't even read them.

You could be right, but it's tough to say without knowing what's gotten a person kicked out. Maybe people's attitudes are getting out of control. You never know until you hear both sides.

Shoot, even then you can't be sure!

No need to waste your time with a PM from me.I view this thread only for entertainment, not for critical world issues.I also believe the majority seem of the same opinion as viewed by the posts following my original one.You have my gratitude for the chance to reschedule this event when the boys are paroled.

Thank You,
