Mild OCP - matching bike and jersey
I was trying to find a black Campy bike but this one caught my eye. Only problem is I already wear a red jersey. I don't want to come off as too OCP, I'm already one of the slowest guys in the pack.
Would this be too much?

Nah, looks just fine. Don't mind the curmudgeons.
You could always strip it down, sell off the parts and buy a new '07 Record group.

Thanks guys
It's really the shifters I'm interested in. I'm thinking about swapping those out and leaving every thing else alone for now. Apparently you can make it work:

Here's another question for you. The bike has two "nicks". I'm not familiar with Carbon Fiber. Does this look superficial?

First shot looks iffy to me. Second one looks just superficial.
As for putting Campy shifters onto it...don't do it. You can make it work with that but it's probably not going to work as well as a full Campy group or a full Shimano group. Especially with that ding in the top photo I would hold off and wait for a nice Campy bike like you really want.

I know several women who choose their jersey and helmet and sock colors to match their bikes. They look kind of cute when they are riding.

I agree, the first chip is a bit deep. It look slike it went into the carbon, but not all the through it. It may not be a big deal, but if I was to contemplate buying it and filling it with epoxy or JBWeld, I would not pay much for the bike, to be honest.

I bought an Euskaltel jersey to go with my Euskadie Euskaltel team painted Orbea. Not only does it fit great and look cool, but I could wear it during deer season.

Get a Trek Dealer to call the factory, my guess is Trek could seal and paint the damage for less then $300.
