What's your posture, while waiting for red light to turn?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What's your posture, while waiting for red light to turn?

I've been riding for a while but I still can't help feeling that I'm being watched while waiting for the red light to turn green, esp. during rush hours. I usually try to stand up straight and consciously flex all my leg muscles.

I think the only people that look at bikers are other bikers. I usually stare at people with nicer bikes (when I'm driving) - they are also good indicators of when the light turns green. Well I am on my bike I am practicing my trackstand and I always just seem to lose it right before it turns green... very frustrating.

I usually sit on my top tube and keep my right foot clipped in and my left foot on the ground.

When you walk by a mirror, do you always look to see how gorgeous you appear?

Do you feel like someone is watching with hidden cameras while you go peepee?

On the seat one foot on the ground, one foot clipped in at 2:00. If you have a significant other, you can lean on each other's shoulder and not unclip at all- it's so romantic!!!

i don't see how anyone can sit on the saddle while stopped, with one foot on the ground and one foot on the pedal, and say their bike fits.

I really never thought of my posture or if people were looking, gesh.. now that sounds like too much pressure for me!
all I know is that I always come to a total stop, both feet still clipped in and stand still till the light turns green

It's all about the slow roll up to the light into the trackstand to buy extra time.

Also, unclipping is totally uncool.

Is that just in case a bunch of Harley riders roll up? https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/284366-fight-guy-harley.html

The bike is leaned sideways and I'm on my tippy toe!!! (like a ballerina but without the tutu!!!). Also I can balance a book on my head and was second runner up in the city wide "best posture" pageant. I am hoping that the finalist will be found guilty of engaging in improper sexual acts and I will get to serve as "Toledo Posture Princess" which involves breakfast in bed, numerous personal appearances, and a free porsche. My platform is "make more friends, be sure to wipe." Now I'll have no more negative comments from you people!!!

Yup, bike leaned, and just on the toes of my feet. Much quicker to get rolling once the light turns. I don't like cars to wait on me.
Also, yes, my seat is a little too low.

It took me three weeks to settle on this platform but in the end I had a winner. Which reminds me of the time that Bubbu Joe let grandpa's prize pig Frodulump into the house one Sunday before breakfast. Well Frodulump was being a right good pig until he was startled by a frog that Bubba Joe had let loose in the living room. Frodulump done squeal like... like I don't know what... Raced into the kitchen, slipped on a banana peel and done careened into the china cabinet. Meanwhile that frog be hoppin' into Grandpa's oatmeal- Grandpa was none to happy bout that. There was oatmeal everywhere, even on Frodulump... It was a real may-lay. We was all late to Church that day and the preacher done said we oughtent enter the house of the Lord less-en we wipes of the oatmeal first!!! Grandma done started to cry and no one could console her. Which reminds me of the time that Bubba Joe got stuck in the terlet....

Trackstand (only if you can) or death!

(else I'm usually adjusting my shorts, most people look away)

Trackstand
or
I get off the bike completely, sit on the toptube, right elbow on my handlebar, and my right hand under my chin in that complemplative, surly, ZOOLANDER look. Oh, it helps to be wearing a one piece racing suit if you do that.

Usually I just stand there and pick a chamois wedgie, totally unclipped, blowing snot to the left... then realize I'm in too big a gear and have myself a nice slow-motion clipless pedal crash in the middle of the intersection.
