places to sell some things
other than craigslist and ebay, does anyone know of anywhere that I can unload some cycling gear (brand new PF RS carbon frame/fork/headset/seatpostclamp/carbon spacers/carbon clamp-on to braze-on adapter still in plastic and never built, shimano ultegra 6600 groupset that has less than 50 miles, shimano ultegra 6600/mavic open pro handbuilt wheelset with less than 50 miles, Look Keo Classic pedals with less than 5 miles) that I dont use? Most of it I am letting go for a steal, yet Craigslist is not bringing up any solid buyers and I refuse to be robbed by ebay. I tried posting in the For Sale forum on here but for some reason it is saying I do not have those privileges to post in that forum. Any suggestions would be a great help!

You Know!? For Kids!
you could write a post listing all your stuff after you find out that until you pay to get a red star you can't post in the for sale forum.

Another cycling forum with a relatively active "for sale" area is the Serotta forum.

If ebay charged $5 for a $10 sale, I could see your point, but they don't... Since you are likely to get a better selling price because of more people looking, and the buyer comfort by being protected, you would probably make up the fee with a higher sale price.
Hypothetically, if eBay charged $45 for a $200 item you could still make out, unless you are lucky and get more than $150 on CL or BikeForums...
In your case, so far you have made zero on the items you can't sell... and you are understandably unhappy with that result, so why resist letting eBay make a little in exchange for providing a platform for your sale.
Have you even computed what the fees would be?
Take good pictures, write a good ad, submit it and wait for a week to see who sends you the money, pay a few percent to the service provider and ship the items. Sounds like a good way to sell stuff to me. Heck, look around at the amount some people get for stuff that they couldn't give away at a swap meet.. well written ads on ebay will even occasionally end up selling items for retail price or higher...
