Thumbs up on the Hammer bibs so far

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

They're a bit diapery (big "chamois") but comfortable and snug fitting. Hill climbing and out of the seat sprints are never the test that plain old miles are but I should be able to report back further later. Thanks for the tip Cypress!

I got the shorts. The chamois feels good, but it doesn't fit me. The thick and fat portion of the pad is a bit too far backwards and I end up sitting forward of them on the thin narrow part with less padding if I pull my shorts up good. If I leave them loose, then they are great. I like the materials and the waistband. They feel good and like high quality.

I'm wondering if the chamois fit issue is due to the fact that I'm between two sizes. I'm right between the xsmall and small, and I went bigger. The shorts feel a bit loose. I guess that I should've tried the xsmall.

I have some on order per Cypress's recommendation. I purchased some Descente Aero-X bibs and have ridden them 30 miles and 55 miles. So far so good.
