Bought Peugeot PS28 for $50

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bought Peugeot PS28 for $50

I was wondering if anyone knows something about it, I never had a road bike before

bought it on a garage sale

but I know its definitely a good deal, Canadian frame, french rims, japanese components.

Was doing almost 50 km/h on a straight road

Nice Bike!

Best head on over and join us in the C&V, the roadies here are scared of old steel.

Very nice! One of the only good Peugeot's. Either 105 or 600 components with Biopace rings. I'm thinking that the RD is a 105, but the crank is a 600.
