The OCP Pro-jekt (Look 555)
... not that I needed a second bike... but having been turned into an addict (thanks Starclimber!), I decided it would be fun to build a 2nd bike... Ironically, I specifically said to myself that I was going to stay away from CF. So I kept looking and looking, and wrote off the choices on my list one by one - until the Look 555 deal showed and it was too good to resist. Campagnolo was on the list since the beginning, and the Centaur groupset was the next thing I acquired. Now for wheels... again, told myself I was going to stay away from CF... but toyed with the idea of getting the Reynolds attack... until I broke down and got the Fulcrum Racing 1s instead. Lastly... still undecided on handlebars, stem and saddle. But before I bore you to death.... I know this thread is worthless without pics. Without further ado....

Wow. That thing is gonna be one sweetness of a ride.
To top it off, an integrated bar/stem combo would look fantastic.
I would even go with some dark silver/gray bar tape to match the paint job.

Oh, SURE...blame ME for your 'little cycling problem'.
The pleasure is all mine. Speaking of pleasure, I'm off to take a gander at the BC championships road race on my way out to Whytecliff. I'll have a sticky bun for you at the cafe!

Not to worry, cuski himself will be carbon after I toast him thoroughly on the Look's maiden run.

Thanks for the comments, guys. Now if only the engine could keep up with the bike

I will snap a couple more pics tonight, seeing that I started putting it together slowly (talk about paranoia - everything is checked and rechecked two or even three times). The cranks are on the frame now, same for the FD and rear brake. Speaking of cranks, the Campagnolo Ultra-Torque system just.... rocks.
