2015 Cervelo R2, my first dentist's bike
Suggestions for a wheelset upgrade? Looking at Dura Ace C24 clinchers or RS81 C35...or possibly a demo set of DA C50s #decisions

I just got a Cervelo R2 and it's AMAZING! I previously had a mediocre aluminum frame (2011 Schwinn Paramount). It's super light and stiff. I noticed a significant difference, most notably with sprinting. Another major difference from the old one was observed as I have been shattering a lot of personal records on Strava with the new bike. The only thing is I "settled" on the 105 5800's, which are supposed the best 105's ever and the closest 105 has ever been to Ultegra. I decided to put more of my budget toward the frame than the groupset. That is a less expensive replacement down the road than a new frame. I know the rider matters, but a bike makes a difference too (especially if you were riding on a clunker for a long time).

Hi, first post.
I have an old Pinarello Paris. I've picked this up second-hand in New Zealand, in it's previous life it was in South Africa. I don't really know much about it. Not 100% sure on its age, anyone hazard a guess? I was told some point in the 1980s, but I've never been able to find much info online. It's made of 7003 Vires alloy and has a mixture of mostly Campagnolo Titanium Record and Veloce components.

Can't say I'm a big fan of disc brakes though, but nevertheless as I said, nice bike!

[COLOR=#454545][FONT=Helvetica]First time posting just to let you guys see what road bike I'm using. A 2015 Fuji Transonic 2.7 with a mixture of ultegra and 105 groupset. Also a 2014 Schwinn Phocus with Claris groupset which I got first used to see if I would really enjoy cycling which it surely did convince me of the same.

I've only put maybe 25 miles on the bike due to work. Its everything Scott claims it to be, power and comfort. I will say it offers great power transfer, better than my other bikes and enough to make me think this is good enough in comfort and power to make me want to sell my other bikes. The geometry is upright and along with the 28mm tires it feels very commanding out the, confidence feeling is how I would call it. The bottom bracket is big, and my favorite part of the bike you can really feel it on the climbs. The Syncros handlebar and wheels are top notch in feel, they are made by Ritchey and DT Swiss. I test rode the carbon Defy and the Roubaix and thought this one had the best overall balance of those 3 bikes.

For the first time since I started riding 6 years ago I do not have the urge to upgrade anything!!
Except the damn handlebar tape. 5 months in and the lizardskins stuff just doesn't hold up.
