Some beautiful steeds in here lately. Mine is not. At least not in the classic definition of the word. But as a riding companion said the first time he saw her up close, "not beautiful in the traditional sense, but beautiful in its design and engineering for purpose," (extraordinarily tall and big riders). I tend to agree. She certainly gets plenty of attention and questions on the road and in the shop. And without her, I never would have been able to fall in love with this exquisite sport for which I am singularly ill-suited.

Indeed he would! Very similar bikes, although his are fully custom. As for the rider, we're probably somewhat similar. I'm just much fatter and smoke far less marijuana (which is to say, none). Also, despite all the smoke he's taken into his lungs, I hear he does proper climbs on those noble steeds of his. Me, not so much. I don't really do "up."

What's up with the white fork? Is that stock? Seems an interesting choice for an otherwise murdered out bike.

It's a great bike. It is a single chainring setup but I mostly ride flat anyway and it's more than enough on those occasional uphills if there's even any. I was more into endurance biking but I have no problem transitioning into a sprint bike. I just needed to try out a different frame geometry and I am liking it.

Here is one of my 14 road bikes. It is a 2008 Look 585. The others are from the '80s and '90s. Many are Italian.

Wraith Fabrication - the Hustle (2016 May)
Finally able to post on this thread after getting some inspiration from many of you. I can only have one bike for my own personal use at one time, so i have been transitioning from a single gear (Polygon) to a hybrid (Felt QX75) to a cyclocross (Soma Double Cross) and finally to the current road bike. Decided to stick with steel frame coz I like the feel of riding steel (compared to alloy), and still refusing to move to carbon. I think this one will stick with me for quite a while.
Kudos to Adam at Stanridge.
