What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Love the Onza pedals - haven't seen those in about 10 years. They almost killed me on more than one occasion.

Here's my freshly completed 56 cm Salsa La Raza. I picked up the frame and fork for a song on eBay last fall and I spent the winter hunting up deals on parts. A friend suggested I put an eBay sticker on it because so much of it came from eBay -- everything but the cables/housings, bars and bar tape and tubes.

I'm planning to take it out on a 50-60 km shakedown cruise tomorrow morning. And before everyone tells me to "flip it," this is my first ever road bike and I promise to flip the stem once I get used to it (honest).

How do those 12(?) spoke wheels work for you? I hear they don't take abuse very well.

I know I posted without pics months ago, but here's my hawg.

2003 Litespeed Orion w/ Ultegra group, FSA Compact, Brooks Team Pro saddle, Specialized All-Condition pro tires, Shimano R-550 wheels, SRAM PG-970 Cassette, SRAM PC-99 chain, Cheapo Elite Strada (or something) carbon seatpost, 3T bars, Ritchey Pro stem, and assorted other bits. Sorry for the poor picture quality, but Father's Day is coming, and a new cam is on the list.
