I run right-front as well...I feel like I get better modulation with my dominant hand...

I like them fine, they certainly soak up vibrations quite well. Very comfy, but I do prefer something a tad stiffer. I bought a pair for my 105 Lb. girlfriend, who probably couldn't flex a slinky, and she loves them! Definitely nice for long rides, though.

I do the same. Since i rarely use my rear i have it set further from the rim so i can smoothly control my speed throughout the swing of the lever if ever needed. But I do get quite the reaction when people ride my bike and they hit what they believe is the front, then realize they won't stop in time so they hit the second lever and nearly go over the bars. As long as they don't actually fall i'm laughing, otherwise i need to inspect my bike for damage...

No pic yet...
but I just picked up an '07 CAAD9 Optimo 3 w/ a new set of Micheline ProRace2 tires, SPD pedals, and bottle cages for a little over $1200... I thought it was a pretty decent deal, no?
Love the bike so far, nice to have gears for hillclimbs after a year of riding fixed exclusively.

I found my bike on the side of the road, unfortunately not much was saved. The components are all original except the rear cassette and brake wire and tubing. Its nice for me :-). Oh, I ride for fun usually, I feel a bit too young to race.

After a crash a number of weeks ago and damaging / breaking my levers, I decided to swap from 9 speed to 10 speed compact set up as I ride this bike mostly in the surrounding hills and mountains. I am very happy with the decision. Oh so smooth to change gears...I didn't realize it would make such a difference.
It's a nice combination of 105 and Ultegra.

As I posted earlier but without a pic, here's my CAAD9 Optimo3, full 105 w/ an Ultegra rear derailleur. For a hair over $1200, I couldn't be happier.

I have a San Marco Rolls Due on my track bike and love it, can't stand this Cannondale over-padded ass-hatchet. Any ideas about a saddle similar to what I have on my track bike but looks a little more modern? I know it doesn't matter because my ass is always on it, but whatever, I'm only human.
And screw off about flipping it, I have about a foot of handlebar drop on my track bike, I'll stick to being comfortable on this one.

1986 Bianchi Brava. I finally picked up toe clips and straps. Fork is raw temporarily, will paint ultra matte black once I am done hand polishing the fork crown and dropouts.

Consider the Selle San Marco Regal. Less bulky than the Rolls, and arguably classier than any saddle out there that riders in the pro peloton still use...Boonen, McEwen, etc. Comes in black or white, with Titanium rails...somewhere in the neighborhood of $110 online.

I finally took a picture of my piece on my ride today.
Raleigh Prestige frame, I think from 2005 if I remember right.
