What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rides like stiff butter.

Went out and played with the camera a bit tonight.

That's great. I like the understated oldskool vibe.

Thanks, thats what I was going for. The pics do it no justice though. The lugwork and craftsmanship are absolutely outstanding on that bike. The Prestige tubeset makes it ride amazing yet stiff. Bill Davidson was/is truly a master.

my first road bike a '07 Schwinn Le Tour GS, 3 days new!
I know, it's a cheapie compare to what u guys have... but it's my first roadie

and my '05 Giant Rincon

I wanted a Giant OCR 3 or a OCR 2
so I called my the 3 Giant dealers within 20 mile radius... all sold out. The new '08 models won't be in for another week or so... I just couldn't wait, so I settled with a Schwinn.

Badaboom, bless you for posting your Schwinn! For two reasons:

1) Any brand new bike IS the most beautiful bike in the universe -- hands down. So congratulations and ENJOY!

2) I myself bought an OCR 3 just a month ago, and have held back posting the details in my signature, or any pictures, for fear of bike snobbery... but come on... it's new, and it's my baby. Sure I'll upgrade it as I go. Sure I need to get in better shape (and I am). But couldn't anybody see that it's the MOST BEAUTIFUL BIKE IN THE WORLD? No Colnago or Seven has anything over it!

Problem is, you show up on those group rides and people look at your bike and then quickly look away. So I get to feeling inferior. Well, you showed me! Power to the people!

P.S. I won't tell you how happy I am with the OCR 3... ;-)

Just picked it up yesterday,

2007 Lemond Versailles. All parts stock, shimano cycle computer and Look Keo Sprint pedals added. Gonna try it for a few weeks before judging it, but it's mostly likely the bontrager saddle will have to go.

I have only put a few miles on it in my parking lot and in the back street learning the new pedals, looking to do my first exercise ride tomorrow, hoping it continues to kick ass. It's really strange riding on the hoods and in the drops, I've never had a non-flat bar before.

It'll continue to kick ass. I've really taken to my first drop bars, too; just got my first road bike a month ago.
