My new build
I had a 2005 Jamis Quest, which served me very well for 1.5 years. But I bought the frame a little bit too small, and have been a little cramped even with all the adjustments I could make. I recently picked up a CF frame (from BD), moved a lot of components and wheelset over from the Jamis, plus added a new Ultegra Hollowtech crank/BB and upgraded the derailleurs. Here is a picture:

I am very pleased with the upgrade. The new frame and crankset are much stiffer, making the hills much more fun! The original bike was pretty flexy with the steel frame and cheap crankset. The new ride is very comfortable; I'm enjoying the longer rides more than ever before. My riding buddies have had comments on how nice the frame looks, and how I seem to be riding noticeably faster than before. I know some of the increased speed and thrill with the bike might be that it is new to me, but I'm really pleased nonetheless. I can hardly wait to get this one up into the mountains!

Unique paintjob there Crimson. Does the paint fade from blue to black or its just the shadows playing tricks on my eyes?

I have three road bikes,
A LeMond Alpe D' Huez with Veloce components (just upgraded from 8 speed to 10 speed cassette and put on Mavic Open Road rims, a great training bike, yet one that will hold its own, a very nice ride.
A Specialized E5 Dura Ace Component bike (this bike is fast as heck), I usually ride it to look cool (as cool as I can Look) - all matt silver :-)
I have a Trek FX 7.7 that is a very nice riding bike and one that is very quick, yet looks like a non race type bike.
I'm not into road racing and as a matter fact I just like the feel of a responsive bike. I usually will slow down if I'm over 22-25 mph as I don't feel safe and my reflexes are not what they used to be. Plus I don't heal up as fast as I did when I was 20 :-)

The camera does an awful job of showing the paint's beauty, it's actually chameleon paint, it goes from blue to purple and has some copper highlights to it. It've very trick. In the picture, the flash changed the light so that it looked like Ford Blue. There's a topic about it in the SSFG Forum titled "The Erba Project- Fast Forward"
