What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

the rear wheel, front hub, frame, and stem are all prone to failure. Grab a helmet, say a prayer, inspect meticulously, and go. If I'm gonna die, I want it to be on that bike

Here's my latest, Kuota Kredo; Dura Ace, Brooks Swift, Old Style Ksyrium SSC's w/ceramic bearings. Toy for 50+ Freds.

Also included, Aegis Victory, still on trainer. I built this beauty from the frame. Campy Record, Brooks Team Pro, Ksyrium. Stiff, great climber, best descender I have ever been on, great at 50+ mph. Super Stable, handles like a Porsche. I call it my carbon Cannondale. I see why these are used to crit race.

When it is all done I'll have a few hundred into the bike and built it up so I could have a nice vintage ride for the weekends when I ride with the kids (folks half my age) who like their 60-100 km hammer fests.

After a long and lonely winter for my baby in the Great White North, I broke out the bar tape in celebration of the spring's coming. Half done:

here is a picture of my first road bike after her maiden voyage, an 08 madone 4.5 wsd. i still can't believe she's mine! the difference from my mtn bike is unbelievable. simply amazing.
also, no white garage door so i had to use our old tool shed! shabby, but white!

Yes. They are designed for a womans smaller hands so they can reach the STI lever easier.

Here's my 1st modern road bike (previously I've only ridden on DT shifters). Brifters are really cool. I ride a fixed gear exclusively so getting used to freewheel is going to take a little while

Actually,it's a size 58 frame with a 55cm seat tube length (semi-compact frame) I often wish I could get my saddle back a little further, maybe I should have gone with the 60 size frame.
