What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not a fan of compact geometry, that seat sticks out a mile. And why platforms? If you want to wear normal shoes get clips/straps.

Yup a toupe... it's angled up slightly. Comfy saddle, but I wish there was less flex -- zero flex would be ideal, because the flex results in a ramp which pushes me forward. Does it look like it needs replacing?

Wow, I've never seen a photo of one from the side like that. I LOVE the look of it...I'll have to give one a closer look next time I'm in the lbs!

Because I like platforms and think clips and straps suck all the fun out of pedaling.

i ride this:

just got this for a used sora right shifter and 10 bucks:

finally having matching shifter designs is nice.

i also like the matching tape and saddle, glad i didn't go with celeste tape. i was seriously thinking about it because it's such a nice color.

under the black tape is an S

luckily i have test ride platforms so i get to have both kinds of "fun"...

the " holy cow i'm totally going so fast" kind and the "if i need to bail i can" kind.

Merckx CHM with Red

Just finished putting this dream together - it's every bit as nice as I hoped, and 15.4 lbs complete.

My CLS....craigslist special! Picked up the frame off craigslist and swaped the components from my first bike....

Much happier with the standard road geometry than the tri frame set up.
