What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

^^^I think it's a beauty. Is that the Rival gruppo and DT Swiss wheels? I really like that frame's paint job. Have not seen that scheme on an Orbea before. I might go with black hoods and white tape. I'm betting you're gonna love riding the heck out of that. Congrats.

Yep...full Rival, which has been problem-free for 5000 miles, and a DT Swiss Mon Chasseral 1450 wheel set. So far the wheels have been perfect...butter smooth.

^^^Have the same wheels. Have about 200 miles on them so far. Absolutely love them, more than the Ksyrium SLs that came with my bike. Way smoother even though they flex more on the sprints. Even got a stick caught in them the other day and DT Swiss won the battle.

^^ I've been loving my Mon Chasserals for over a year now, they're still my favorite go-to wheelset for everyday riding. The ride is so smooth and sweet.

OHH I plan too. I was looking to step up from my K2 that had sora shifters...I wanted the next progression at 105's or higher... but there just wasnt alot in my budget. CL came up with old junkers....so, I went with this. The main thing is that this actually fits me and I am comfortable on it. Over time (maybe christmas) I'll look at investing in some newer shifters.

Thanks, me too. Love at first sight. Took a big risk as there was no Cinellli dealer here to try it out but then my favorite LBS decided to carry the line after I inquired about the bike. Was a good line for them to pick up and they got a good territory out of it. I got a LBS instead of a blind internet purchase. No offense intended to internet stores, just like to see, touch and feel before I drop this kind of money on a frameset.

There is something to be said for a beautiful design that is extremely functional. Not to mention it is a bit old school too. They do not have decal logo smallpox with the company name or model plastered over every millimeter of the bike. At least on this model.

Just shows the power of advertising. This was one of the featured bikes in the latest Bicycling Magazine's buyers guide. The minute I saw it, I was hooked.

I finally finished my first build! Started with a 2004 Trek 1500 frame and built up from there. Full campy centaur. I can't wait for the warm weather to come so I can ride

Offer them $360, see if they come down. It could be a decent beginner triathlon bike, but th condition is really unknown. Without knowing anything about you or your intended use, it's impossible to say.
