What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Your front tire label isn't correctly lined up with the valve stem on the Cannondale... Very nice bikes though.

Oh it is. That part on the upper right corner is a branch from the bush in the background.

My new toy

Bike:

Frame: Iron Horse Excelsior Race size 54 - aluminum w/ carbon seat stays
Wheels: Reynolds Alta Race - aluminum 30mm deep rims w/ 20/24 spoke counts
Tires: Pro2Race (will be shifting to Conti GP4000 in near future
Drive train: Ultegra 10 speed shifters and derailleurs, 105 cable set
Cranks: Truvativ Elita Compact Crankset (36/50) with GXP Bottom Bracket
Cassette:11-28 SRAM 1070 cassette
Stem: Profile Hammer OS 90 mm
Handlebars: FSA Wing size 42
Brakes: Camby Veloce
Seat: Forte Pro RS1
Seatpost: Forte Precision seatpost
Pedals: Speedplay light action

Total weight 19.2 pounds

I put this together for $750. I was able to generate $650 of that by selling parts. So my out of pocket costs were $100. This is the first bike I've owned where I was able to get what I wanted without major compromises.

I went for my first ride on it - what a smooth ride. I did a quick 5 mile ride over mostly flat with one small 500 meter climb. The bike was very nimble, and. I do need to fiddle with my cleats as the right one wasn't staying in the pedal well. I kept pulling out. I think I need to tighten it up more. But it felt so good to be on the bike again!

I get giddy when I see these posts from folks just having bought their first road bike. A whole new world sort of opens up. It's a sweet looking ride. Hope you enjoy the heck out of it. Thanks for posting.

Awesome bike, but that paint scheme is a complete rip off of a 08 Cannondale Six13, no?

Ummmmmmm, No. Solid white with lettering is about the only resemblance I see.....Both have a nice, fairly simple look.
