What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That's neat, but that particular bike isn't in production yet, and it seems like a lot of hinges for the frame. I can't say how well its riding position would work, either.

For folding road bikes, check out some of the models from Bike Friday, like the Pocket Rocket and Speeding Tikit:

You'd be surprised with some of the storage solutions that have come up for bikes. The container store has some good ones. However, I was on a budget, so I just pushed my bed out 2 feet from the wall and my bike now rests on the wall - no problems

1) What is your height/weight

2) Do you race? I assume so since you said jr. gearing.

3) What is your budget. 500?

I just posted a thread here -->https://www.bikeforums.net/road-cycling/570754-budget-custom-wheel.html

But 145, yes, sub 400 would be nice.

Thanks;

no, Bevo is the neighborhood here in St. Louis that I'm from, named for the Bevo Mill, and old restaurant built by Anheuser Busch on the south side of the city. (although the place just recently closed down )

carry on...

Got everything separately on ebay so it was pretty cheap. Off the top of my head I know the shifters were 140, crankset was around 140, cassette was 60, rear derailleur was 60. Definitely recommend going that route if you have some patience.

I've been looking at this bike for over a month now. It will most likely be the next bike I purchase. Probably not until next spring though. Looking good!

I agree, if you are patient you can do a nice build/upgrade on a budget from EBay/CL/LBS. I just finished my Klein and have under $1,100 all told (shipping and everything) for the complete build with Campy Centaur/Veloce 10sp, Ultra-Torque cranks, Ksyrium Elites...

hey sprinterT, if you are looking at getting it I would go for it right now. They are discounting it alot. I picked up this F3 SL brand new from Felt for $2,600, which is a steal!!

Really?! Wow. You bought it from a dealer, right? Because Felt lists them at like $3,600 MSRP.

I contacted my my local Felt dealer and they told them a quote on got on the F3 from another Felt dealer and he didnt believe me haha. So he contacted Felt directly and got back to me that Felt was having a sale. So i bought it at my LBS, but they had to order it directly from Felt, which makes me pretty positive it is a Felt price (my lbs manager could not believe the price). Wouldnt hurt to contact your local felt dealer and ask them to quote you a price and if its in the 3,000 tell him about the sale i got and have them contact Felt directly. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Varns- sounds like a really good deal. What's w/ the reflectors on your wheels, though? Yuo should ditch those. Also, what's that plastic disc behind your cassette?

Yea i've got plenty of responses to ditch the reflectors and the disc. Im not sure what it is, but have been told it is to prevent your chain from going into your wheel if it came off. I'll take the risk and i'm removing it today.
