What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

How do you like that ZX3? I'm staring one down on PF and trying really hard not to pull the trigger.

This is my most recent road bike. Its an experiment in handlebar design that I put together myself just to see if it would work. It was originally a CAAD4 that I got used, and then added parts until it was done. Its a hair of over 19lbs as pictured, and that's even with CXP22/Ultegra hub on the rear. Not bad for $600 in parts.

It is a stiff frame. Much more so than the RS. It is a bit heavier but I prefer it over the RS.

Bianchi TSX UL RC frame - bought new in 1996 - classic Italian steel with chrome and lugs.

Originally outfitted with Campy Athena 8 speed gruppo and Mavic Open Pros. Replaced wheels with old Campy Eurus 8 spd wheels for 3-4 years.

Finally replaced original 8 speedwith 10 spd Campy last year (mix of Centaur and Veloce), just swapping out the original LOOK PP256 pedals for some new Look KEO Max 2, and currently running mixed wheels (original Mavic Open Pro back on the front; Velocity Aerohead build now on the rear).

Love the frame - so figured I may as well run a few more years on it. Definitely an old friend by now.

Hi Everyone!! I am new to Cycling (and this board)..very very new actually..this is my first road bike that I bought over the weekend.

2 months ago I quit smoking..I didn't want to gain weight so I bought a *** mountain bike to ride the greenway behind my house..Long story short..Mt Biking was a little on the boring side, so I took the advise of a few friends and bought a road bike ....I'm completely addicted ..

A friend of mine has been riding for years, so he took me out...kicked my ass for 14 miles and taught me a whole lotta stuff that I'm still thinking about..I absolutely love it! If my girlie bits weren't sore, I'd go ride today..

Here's Sasha..2009 Specialized Allez...I figure, red is a sassy color, and the name Sasha sounds like a b****y cheerleader..

09 Scott Speedster S60. The pic isn't the greatest, and the reflectors are gone now also.
