What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

1988 Colnago Master. Full C Record Gruppo.

I added new bar tape, tyres and an Elite Bottle Cage. My new favourite bike.

Evidently 1988 was a good year.

Just wait til I get my hand-sewn saddle restoration from https://busymanbicycles.blogspot.com/

No, no..it looks great as is. But add the Fizik's white and blue bar tape and Look's white Sprint pedals to finish the job.

Thanks for all the thumbs ups. I think its a great bike and certainly more then I deserve but I'm not sending it back. I already had the cages and it looks nice enough to me so they're staying and I prefer just plain ole' black pedals. Other then swapping out the arione for a toupe I'm keeping it the way it is.

Has anyone else noticed there's very little inventory at bike shops lately? Its getting harder and harder for me to justify paying a premium at my LBS when the selection is so limited.

So how you like the wheelset for crits? and how accurate you think the iBike is? Contemplating getting it, but it is going to be a hassle.....

My New 2010 Trek 2.1 Alpha C

I posted this a week ago, but it was right when I brought it home and the reflectors and stickers were still on it. My first Road bike......

This is it after I replaced the seat and cleaned her up a bit. Only things I need are new bag and clips.
I like it.... A LOT...

Just a bit better than before
Why would you want a new bag, the fact that it has S(pecialized) written on it? Don't bother... It's a nice bag and fits the bare essentials you need on a ride.
Oh and by the way, don't go with clips. Move along to clipless (SPD or something) pedals.

The bag is old and off my MTB.....so I just want a newer/smaller one that fits better.....and that one back on my other bike.

No problem mate.

What I did notice though, you have the computer sensor on your fork the wrong way around. It may be in a slightly more aero position like this, but there's hardly any advantage... Though, you wouldn't want it to shift and get caught by your spokes. Could cause you some serious injury.
