What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thanks for the tip!

Correct, both by the Official Rules - Rule 17 and the (inferior) Rules of Velominati - Rule 8

Nice bike, by the way.

First, I don't know for certain if my caution is applicable to the resins used in carbon lay-up, but I know first hand the damage Acetone can do to ABS and other plastics. It may not be noticed with the eye, but after exposure to Acetone plastics become brittle. Based on my experience with plastics, I would avoid the use of Acetone on composites.

Feel free to show me other wise.

I agree, they really pop. That bike is timelessly gorgeous and sharply modern all at once.

Have a Scott speedster saddle, VP R80 clipless pedals, and an Atom 4.0 computer. Keeping it pretty stock since I'm selling it soon.

i picked this up today for $475. its an '08 bikesdirect motobecane le champion, ultegra front derailleur and shifters, the rest is a 9-speed dura ace set. i'm hoping to make this a more commuter oriented bike, so I'm probably going to try and sell the spinergys. i am completely new to road bikes, so can anyone chime in and let me know if this was a good find?

Just a simple Trek 1.2 with 105 pedals, GP4000s tires and a new specialized saddle. I'm thinking of changing the bar tape to something other than white, but I really don't want to buy another saddle to make it match.

If he doesn't, I'm sure the wheels will get rid of themselves. I think I've read some things somewhere, concluding these wheels to be pretty scary.
