What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What about the lugged construction that is typical of Colnago carbon frames?

I am currently riding Fuji SST3 with mixed components between 105 and ultegra, btw this is my first carbon road bike.
I saw in our LBS they have sale on Cervelo S2 $3000 which is full shimano ultegra, color white-red.
My question is,
Is it worth to upgrade from my Fuji SST3 ?
Is it much better bike and mainly the frame?

All suggestion are welcome even with different brand, thanks a lot
$3k for a $4k bike is a good deal. If it is new, your size, and everything, go for it. I love my S2

My two new babies: still need to adjust the saddle position on the tarmac and there's lots of work to be done on the 3rensho. I'm excited!

sweet ride!! Did you recently purchase that from Bicycle Haus? I'm pretty sure I saw that bike there a few months ago.

Thanks! and nope I got the bike used about 2 months ago off CL, stripped it down to the frameset and just finished building it up this week. It's never been to Haus though.

I knew that, thanks. But I'm not a fan of white hoods.

I'm tempted to switch out that s-works bar tape with the Fizik red gloss this weekend. Unlike the Fizik microtex tape, dirt and grime doesn't clean off the s-works tape and I can't have that.

nateintokyo- I'm not a big fan of classic looking builds, but that IndyFab bike of yours is one great looking ride. Beautifully done.

I was thinking the same thing, but I didn't want to be rude. Thanks for being that guy. Also orange tires on a red bike, yuck!

I hear the Ronald thing......and I like it--there are too many boring black/white/red road bikes.

But in my defense on the tires, the first set I mounted were black. On the first ride out, well, see the pic. Ugh. At least bikesnobnyc posted it up. This is my first modern road bike, so I am still on a set of mtb pedals while I figure out what I want to use--just haven't yet had the, uh, Time to Look. The yellow tape and Eriksen post stay though

---milliron---clicked through to your blog--the Santa Barbara riding looks great. I'm moving there at the beginning of Sept after far too long on the East Coast.

You need to loose that post for something zero set back. It looks ridiculous with your seat slammed forward.

I'm strangely OK with everything else.

The logo on the crank was under the clear coat. So I had to sand it off, and then re clear it. I used a satin clear. I really like the look of it.
