What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

20lbs!!! Oh the humanity!!!!D Back when I started riding back in the '70's 20lbs was a superlight roadie. My first roadie was 27lbs and I was told that was light for a non pro bike.....I must have gotten old.

Yeah, 20lbs is manageable for sure but I can't shake the intense desire for a full carbon, sub 16lb bike

Meh, not bad for a first bike. Use it as a rain bike, or something, when you buy your next.

Congrats!! I remember you posting in the Litespeed M1 thread. You made a good choice.

I see you have the same inexpensive seatpost, stem and bars I do. I'm ditching mine this week; part vanity, but mostly looking to tweak the fit. Straight seatpost, 90mm stem (down from 110mm), 42cm bars (44cm currently).

Who makes their shift/brake levers? I don't recognize those colors.

That would be a sweet touch though. Wilier loves putting their own branding on parts (stem, seatpost, calipers, handlebars, cranks, saddles), it would be a great touch to make the shiftlever red with the white Wilier "fleur-de-lis"-ish logo on it. Or white with red logo maybe.

Looking at CC's gallery of recently shipped bikes, there are several Rival-equipped bikes (Izoard XP, Litespeed M1, etc) with black chainrings, and several with the standard silver chainrings. Interesting.

Just bought my first road bike off of craigslist the other day. I really like it and it is so much fun to ride, but can anyone help me identify the model it is? Or tell me if I got a good deal (paid $325)?

Thanks!

Didn't mean to start a war with my cranks. They work for me so I guess that's what matters. Keep in mind I bought them shortly after my Tsunami was stolen. They were at the shop and I needed cranks so that's what I ended up with

Nice color. And most important thing that it rides and you like it.
