What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

For their gram to price ratio, I can't complain. I'm 163lbs and their stiff enough for me, only thing I don't like is they only come in compact.

Yeah that kinda stinks, but I've grown accustomed to my compact Lightning cranks. What chainrings are you using? I've heard they are real flexy, and drop chains often.

Fiber-Lyte outer with Rotor Q-ring inner. They feel stiff to me and haven't dropped a chain yet. Funny, I was considering the Lightning cranks too because of the interchangeable spider before I got the Extralites.

WOW, first Seigler I have seen since I was at a training camp that he was helping out at three years or so ago. I came very close to picking one of them up.

The stock FSA garbage crankset and bottom bracket cracked, no doubt due to the epic wattage I was putting through them. So the upgrade fairy visited and brought me a new Ultegra 6700 compact crankset. A very nice improvement.

Going to be honest I literally took them for a spin around the block since it was super late before I got them on, but they are really good. Much better than what was on there, I could have 6 of them for the weight of one of the other wheels.

as for getting rid of the Sora, yes a SuperSix - 4 will be next on the radar, or a custom build.. not too sure yet.

Hey all, a lurker here who finally decided to sign up. Here's my 2011 Boardman Team Carbon, just used this on a London - Brussels 24 hour charity trip. Great bike! Would look even better with some matt carbon rims though...

It's 55cm. The geometry is here if you want to have a look. No pun intended. Maybe.

If you're talking about the left crank you're probably seeing the cadence sensor magnet.

Here's mine, got it this spring. I was rocking a 1970's Schwinn Varsity before. Definitely an improvement.

That's too funny! I had my Le Tour for about a year, got that model Motobecane, and now I have a Schwinn Continental(fancy Varsity) in my fleet as well!

Don't let the Bikes Direct haters tell you otherwise, that is a great bike for the money. It's worth the $$ to go to your LBS and get a good initial setup though, which by the non-stock stem I'm guessing you already did.

Happy riding!
