What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Giant Defy Advanced 1 - 2009 model.

Came with a Dura Ace dérailleur and I put Dura Ace pedals on it. Everything else is Ultegra.

Just over 17 pounds if I take the seat bag and the computer off it. Never weighed it with the pump off??

Still wet in the picture - I've just done a 52 miler and sprayed it down with the hose when I got back as it was filthy.

Hope you like it. I do Only problem with it is it's a size too big. See how the saddle is almost level with the bars, and the bars are in the lowest possible position. Last time I buy online

Serious thing, is your shifting cable really that loose (it looks wavy).

And about your photography, the photo should be of the drivetrain side of the bike, pedals should be at 45 degrees (45, right?), and your valves should be in the same position. You can also remove the plastic presta cap on the front wheel. They do nothing but slow you down changing a tube on the fly.

the carbon derailleur cages and finger lever insert tell me that is late record 10. GREAT groupset. too bad cassette supply is dwindling.

sram claimed that red was the first sub 2kg groupset but it was actually the last gen of record 10

Familiar, yes. Know them by heart, not yet. I'm definitely in the small ring.

It's a 53cm Traitor Exile and I love it:

So far I have only ridden it around the parking lot at work. A coworker picked it up for me last week while I was out on vacation, today I took it out for a quick spin, and now I am off for a conference until Thursday. So close and yet...

It is a real featherweight compared to the bikes I commute on. I am not picturing a rack but it will be hard to resist fenders. Otherwise I won't be riding it steadily until next August.

That bike is so boss! I went to Marino's website, I'm assuming it's a custom frame? I had a question about the rear-seatstays; do you have problems dialing in the rear brake after removing and re-installing the wheel? Since you have rear-facing dropouts, you can't get the exact setting you had before you took the wheel off, and that messes with the brakes, right? I remember when Bianchi tried coming out with a fixed-gear/singlespeed cross-bike with rear-facing dropouts and disc-brakes. It was called the "Roger" or something like that. I thought it was neato until Sheldon Brown pointed out having disc-brakes without vertical dropout was silly because you'd have to reset your brakes every time you took the wheel out and put it back.

2 week old RS, just came back from the fit. Love it so far!

My current 2007 Scott Speedster S60 has been promoted to commuter bike with the addition of a Civia rack and Ortlieb pannier.
