I found the damn on Google Maps... didn't take long at all. Hiyoshi Damn.
This unique circular bridge was built in 1998 as part of the neighboring Hiyoshi Spring spa resort.
The pedestrian bridge is situated at the foot of the Hiyoshi dam and has a diameter of 80 m. Both the bridge and the spa resort were designed by Japanese architect Norihiko Dan (https://www.dan-n.co.jp).

It's a lovely area for a picnic and relaxation etc. You can take an elevator trip down inside the wall and there's a small museum / children's activity area inside it.

Crappy picture, but I just finished putting it together. 12.75 pounds as it sits. Still need to decide on tires though.

I probably need a bit less drop to the bars, but that will be easily solved with a slightly different stem. Unfortunately, I'm cursed with relatively long legs and a shorter torso thus the exposed seat tube.

80's Maruishi Roadace 5. Changed most parts from chrome to black including the headset and I did all the work myself. Not bad for my first bike. Lots of thanks to some members on here that gave me good pointers and critiques.

I also posted on the "hot r not" thread. Hopefully 1 or 2 people like it.

Yea. I needed new wheels and these are the only ones I could get with my budget. Would have loved to be able to get some carbon wheels or easton wheels. I figured I would wait till I get a better frame to get the easton or carbon wheels. That won't be for a long time cus I am BROKE! They are good wheels though...
