What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Finished tinkering with my S1 until next season. It's currently in training mode, but my next moves will probably be new wheels and new bars.

My 1997 Cannondale R500. I converted it to a Road Double crank and rings.

This is the bike I currently ride:

I took a stock Cannondale CAAD 10 4 that was 17.4 pounds out of the box and turned it into a 15 pound killer. Here is what I changed to turn my CAAD 10 into a "Carbon Killer:

Upgrades

Fizik Anteres saddle
FSA SLK seat post
Bontrager SR Stem
Zipp Service Course SL handle bars
Cannondale SL crank with SI rings
DT Swiss Tricon 1450 wheels
Look Keo 2 Max Pedals
Dura Ace 11-21 cassette

Let me know what you think.

Personally, I think it's a dang shame that Cervelo dropped the Soloist/S1. It's a great bike.

Thanks! I like your Cervelo as well. When they built that frame, it was way ahead of it's time.

Henry Ford II told his design team (including Lee Iococca (sp?) and Carol Shelby) to "beat Ferrari at LeMan, at any price".

and that they did.
