What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I currently only have a Giant Sedona Comfort bike that I bought two years ago to start with.I am a 48 year old diabled person that bought it to try for a lil physical therapy. Apparently it must've worked. Rode ov 2K since !/1/2004 just in town miles.Felt coomfort bike wouldn't be good on long rides? Max in a day was 22 miles in this Texas summer! Can't upload a pic, says files too big!? Oh well! Sorry!

Ok, here's the good news! I've gotten better at riding and feel that I must move on to bigger and better things! Here's the website pic of the new bike I will take delivery of on May third, next month when my disability check comes in! It's a brand new '05 Giant FCR4 road bike that I've wanted for years! Now, they finally built it! LBS owner said it'd be too hard for me on a OCR.Right! Drop bars no good for me! Will let you know how bike rides soon! The Giant rep brought an FCR3 to my LBS while I was there visiting (bad move!) and let me test ride it, knew it was the one for me! Told him my complaints on it and he informed me that the FCR4 fixed all that! So, here we go!

80's Olmo powder coated black, w. Mirage groupset. Nothing to brag about, but it gets the job done.

I am the dork in red, losing the race...

I got an Apollo RDZ 3000 from the trading post.
FANTASTIC VALUE. The bikes worth 1000AUS. Shoes and cleats, mini pump, helmet, speedo, lock every thing as well, an extra 300AUS. I got it for 470AUS. Its 5 months old, but it has literally been left in his house the whole time.
The bike has been performing great, but I'm having trouble getting the presta adaptor plug to work with my air compressor (which has a schrader plug). It doesn't seem that the stick which is supposed to push that valve reaches far enough with the adaptor on, so you can't pump it up, and don't even ask about my experiences pumping up the tires with the minipump. I ended having to go to the bike shop to get the tires inflated enough.
Some pictures are below. ... And yes I do use a stand, and will always use one, even if I get an $8,000 road bike, no matter what people say. Convenience is more important than aesthetics!

As long as the stand is Carbon Fiber then an exception can be made
