What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What road bike do you have?

Thanks. Madone 5.5. It was this or the Cervelo R3... I was actually leaning towards the R3, but several factors landed this puppy in my lap!

Thanks, I'll have to check out those threads to learn the proper waiving etiquette. I even spelled it wrong in my first post...

I forgot to add, although the Trek addressed all the deficiencies of my MTB, it also lost one of the pros: MTB could traverse almost any terrain. The Trek seems so delicate! I felt like it might crack going over a tiny stone and strong gusts of wind would force the bike to steer downwind... maybe it's just something I need to get used to.

I thought it was a Madone but didn't know which one. I can't see any badging in the picture. It is gorgeous.
I have a simple Trek 2.1 . Did 50 miles on it today before it warmed up. One day there will be carbon fiber in the stable.

I just picked this up at the local LBS this last week! It is a 2012 Specialized Roubaix Elite Compact. I switched out the Fulcrum Racing 6 that came with the bike for my trusty 09 Mavic Elites. I still need to turn the bars down and find some new water bottle cages. Sorry for the crappy photos, did my best with a cheap digital camera.

I was seriously debating building up an SL3 frameset, but I just couldn't swing the extra funds. I searched for a while to find any information on this model as I noticed the frameset seemed to be somewhere in between the SL2 and SL3. The brake cable through the top tube was most obvious, but there are a few other things too. This frame has the new bolt on zertz and the cobra shaped head tube(you will have to forgive me for the crappy photoshop).

You probably figured this out already but next time you can mount the tire, mount the frame back on the wheel, then inflate the tire.

Not the greatest pic, but can't wait to finish stripping and building up the Caad10 when the rest of the Sram Red-black parts arrive this Wed. Besides the frameset, the only OEM parts staying with this build so far are the cannondale c3 stem, handlebar and Prologo Kappa saddle; I thought I was going to keep the Caad10 in stock form but those plans lasted only a day.
