Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Gotten an actual road bike after a couple of years on a drop bar hybrid. Switched mainly because the old frame was a tad too small and the price on this one was quite good.

It's a 2006 Scott Speedster S30 frame with a mix of Shimano Tiagra, 105 and Ultegra components. Cheap, reliable and sturdy.

It's actually not a bike path. Just a private road for houses that gets cut off by a development, so you can ride through on a bike but no outlet for vehicles. This is cross the Monocacy Creek amidst the little town of Bethlehem.

+1.. i have the basic sirrus and it's one of my fav. it's a bike that takes a beating and keeps going. the only down side of the sirrus for me is too much vibration from the fork, handlebars, etc. other than that.. it's a great bike!

Those 650c wheels make your big ring appear to be massive!

I know, and not only the big ring. The brifters and the saddle also look huge, as does the drop of the handlebar
