I wouldn't ever let that shop touch my bike. That install looks both careless and lazy. I would hate to think what the quality of their work is on jobs that actually require some effort.

Finally have the bike back together... Upgraded the wheels to Aksiums, the drive train (minus crank) to Rival from sora and the Crank to 105 from FSA. The crank was done before I went Sram but I'll be grabbing a Rival crank soon! What do you guys think?

I really like it. I love the silver components. I would be tempted to leave the silver 105 cranks on there and use the money you plan on spending to buy black rotor, ta, stronglight or praxis chainrings. 105 cranksets are pretty nice but the chainrings look cheap.

I love the 105 standard... I figure having the rival crank might be smoother. But after aa short ride today it wasn't bad at all with the 105.

My new Supersix, which replaced my Kestrel RT 900 that was totaled in a car accident, (driver was cited and I'm fine).

Giants get no love in the 41, even though the Giant factory produces most of the "major US" frames.
I guess our bike are "poor little brothers of everyone else".

How do you like the SRAM over Shimano?

Sora was crap... Now I feel more comfortable when I'm in the drops in need of a shift. Rival is great and having that extra gear really helps. I've only got about 10 miles on the bike since the swap but I think I'll stay SRAM.

My Fall project:

Nothing really fancy, I just miss the feel of Steel.
This is how I got her, I haven't tweaked anything yet.
I just picked her up for $90, planning on updating a few things, & making this my grocery/cruiser.
Planning on changing the saddle, & seat post 1st.

Here's my Nashbar steel CX with my soon-to-be road bike: Fuji SST 3.0! During the test ride, I realized it's stiff as crap but it felt like a rocket compared to the CX!

Been riding this for a little over a month now.
I've seen a few others posted but I'm sure we are the minority here.
Came from a Trek 2.3 that I rode for the past 3 years.
