What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

..I'd have no idea...they do look big in that photo though, and they are moved right along then bars to create room for lights...

But I can't say I noticed they were overly large....

I love that frame, it's classic. I'd ride that thing all day.

Picture from google, until I can upload my own picture from on a ride!

Bought this off ebay yesterday. Hoping to get on it pretty soon. Get the feel for road racing.

Due to lack of time I still have to take it for a long ride >80Km. I only did max 40Km and the shifting is very nice!

Not my cup of tea looks whose ether its too old but it Rhodes so smooth...I don't think I will get rid of it, I'll keep it just for training / indoor rollers if nothing else but it dose for now.

And thx I looks much better than when I first got it.

On the Road again

Back online after nearly a year silent. Finally settled after a x-country move and back out biking in a new area.

Dropped my trobubled Zipp 101's.....finally (been warranited 2x, spend more time in the shop than on the bike) and got a pair of Shimano Dura Ace C24, 2013. Very Excited to be back out..That 8-9months without consistent riding made me gain ~10lbs. Can't wait to get out and take them off.

I posted my Helix OS when I first got it and now it has been almost 18 months later, with a few modifications. I also posted my Lynskey R330 a while back.

These two then became the basis for my next custom bike, just completed today - my custom Parlee Z1.

Your GT is painted very nicely! That's probably my favorite looking frame on this page. I think your saddle bag might be on wrong though, unless it doesn't fit the other way. Here's a pic for reference. Might prevent the bag from hitting your legs.

Those GT carbon frames are actually QUITE nice. I agree about the saddle bag comment. You definitely have it installed incorrectly. The straps are supposed to wrap around the bag and double back on themselves.
