Here's a picture of my 40+ year old Wards bike and my new Windsor Wellington 3.0

Wards ten speed.

My Wellington 3.0
I've been riding for two weeks. I started riding earlier in June but laid off for a couple of months until recently. I'm 63 years old and have a long ways to get into shape. I am riding 10 to 15 miles a day. I'm going to have to take it slowy, you can't undo 40 years of nothing over night. I also have a bad knee that I have to be careful about.
Oh yea, I live in Burney CA. It is beautiful riding country with plenty of hill climbing available.

My Utility Bike. Grab it for any kind of ride, it's game. It's about to get upgraded to the newer 10-sp Ultegra and DA 7900/C24 wheels. It's been a good bike, and deserves a little treat. Not 15 lbs, not 16, not even 17, but at about $1400 with the "new" stuff, I'll take it. The upgrade will drop it back into the mid-upper 17's.

Then again, I do have a 15 lb bike...The pedals, spare tubular, and Garmin push it closer to 16. New Blackburn cages have replaced those you see. 18g cages, not even sure if they'll hold a bottle....

Looking good per usual.

I've always wanted to try nimble wheels. Every time I see that bike, it makes me think of the era where they were legal in mass start. My parents tried spinergys and specialized wheels.

Thanks ranger! I've been eyeing it for a while, finally picked it up for under $1800.

Specialized Tarmac Expert SL4 (10r) w full Ultegra (electric), Dura Ace wheels, Zipp stem. This bike replaces a 3 year old Tarmac Expert SL (10r) w Fulcrum Racing One wheels. The new bike is way better in every way - lighter, stiffer, smoother, more stable at speed, more stable in a hard turn. jhglaw

My two current rides. 2013 Trek 1.2 I received as a present earlier this year, and my 1981 Trek 715.
Looking at these pictures makes me look forward to summer.
