Was given this 2002 Jamis Comet comp series frame with a Mavic Elite rear wheel. Put a Campy Centaur Carbon Red/Blk groupset on it with a Mavic Elite front wheel I got off Ebay. Bike runs smooth. Weights <18lbs. Just getting back into bike riding after 30yrs. Need a bike to get me into shape.

I didn't want to drop large coin on my 1st road bike ( just bought a new mtb), so I got a GT series 2 2013 on sale and upgraded it with Pure Aero wheels (32 spokes) as I'm a big boy. New carbon cranks and bits and its good to go!!

My first road bike, been riding mountain bikes for many years but finally made the jump. This is as basic as it gets, hopefully will be upgrading to the nashbar CF fork soon to egt rid of the steel anchor up front.

After a new wheelset I'll really be happy with this ole' girl. She's treated me very well. Weighting in at 15.9 lbs aint too shabby.

Found this 2003 Klein Q Carbon Team for a song, couldn't resist building up my first road bike. Shimano 105 5800 throughout, everything else is cheap stuff I've accumulated over the years. Nothing special, but I really enjoyed picking out all the little parts and putting it all together. Gratifying! And it's even more gratifying to ride.

Only thing left to add is...holy stiffness, Batman!

She's only seen a short 15 mile ride, but WOW I can tell she'll serve me well. But one thing has to change: The handlebars, and I didn't wrap them on assembly because I knew this would be a change from stock.

My first road bike, I always have been riding one of my mountain bikes on the road and finally pulled the plug on an unbeatable deal on this carbon frame Roubaix. I have the base of a good frame and I will upgrade components as needed.

2014 Cinelli Experience. This picture was taken before I upgraded everything to Shimano 105. At the moment I'm in the market for some new mid-level wheels. Any suggestions?
