Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This particular Felt bike is great and I presume others are equally pleasing to their respective owners. I am currently looking at adding to the stable and the AR series Felts are well and truly on the radar... along with some other very respected brands.

Nice job with this build, especially at that cost. I really like the balance between the white and the black.

wait some time on the AR series... rumor has it they will be releasing an update soon... I almost got an AR series instead of the F series... haven't looked back yet.

Thanks Eric. I like your Scott too, but I like my Cervelo better. As you can see, I've become used to the compact gearing. I just spin faster. Traded my Red crank on my Trek for a Force compact too. I guess it worked out better that way.

This is my first real road bike, a 2011 Specialized Roubaix SL2 Apex Elite.

I have Shimano 105 pedals on the way from PBK but for now I'm using MTB shoes and Crank Bros. pedals. Love the bike.

another compact convert-- if you can spin faster it will help on the hillier stuff. I've been having too much fun riding my hed h3c's. even though they weigh more than a pound compared to the edge set.
