Whoever pays $1000 to save 5g on a crank is an idiot. However those silly starfish/squid looking Shimano cranksets are disgusting. Despite that the bike is okay looking. That Boardman is a pretty nice looking rig too. The Focus is a little too busy, and the Cervelo is pretty nice. Hard to mess those up, not an RS fan or a fan of white bikes, but it still looks good.
That makes a bit more sense.

I've been lurking here for the summer but I finally got around to the garage door shot of my Bianchi Via Norone 7 Soro. It's my first road bike, purchased in May 2011. I can't say anything bad about this bike. I've put 800 miles on her and recently completed my first couple of 50+ mile rides. Here's a pic and a couple of recent ride maps now that I realized how cool they are.

Sweet.
Now just flip it, and be nicer to your derailleur. It doesn't deserve that.

i upgraded from a 2011 trek 2.1, im blown away at how much better the AR5 is. they are both 105 bikes but literally everything about the felt feels better, and it's 4 pounds lighter. i consider it an amazing bang for the buck bike. i wanted ultegra but for an extra $1500 it saves about a pound so i'll stick with the 105 and upgrade the crank if it eve fails. go ride one, its awesome.

Since a few weeks I'm the proud owner of this new Giant TCR Composite 2.
The bike has been assambled completely with the complete Shimano Ultegra group (triple speed) and parts such as breaks and pedals. Also changed the default wheel set with the Cosmic Elite 2011 Wheel set.
So far I'm extremely happy with my new bike!

Took some better pictures of the nashbar. I've ridden it ~1000 miles so far and I have no complaints other than the weight (20lbs) and un-extraordinary appearance.
