What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It takes a big man to ride a bike that says "Rock'N'Roll Sweetheart".
It takes and even bigger man to make fun of that man. ;-)

And it takes some odd parents to name a boy Corine...

The mirror helps me a lot of traffic, an excellent investment for riding in city.

I asked about it in the mirrors thread but never heard back, can you point it forward so you can where your going in a tuck?
it looks very nice, almost like it was designed by a bicyclist.

New wheels, fresh tape (match's team kit), steerer cut.

Wheels are an older set of Zipp 404 tubulars.

Such a nice bike. Surely it deserves a wireless computer. Whoever put that one on really needs slapped.

Giant elway fan here! But I didn't have that in mind with this bike, the orange tape was just to match my team kit

I love your bike, I have a Defy as well.
It sort of reminds of the Team Rabobank colors.

Wireless is not nessasary. You can install a wired computer to the point where it is nearly impossible to see. Either way, the current state is a shame. It is a very nice bike but that wiring job is distracting.

Just picked this up the other night:

It's a 2006 BikesDirect Mercier Galaxy. It's in great condition; the original owner (my neighbor) bought it new in 2006 and I assembled it. He rode it around the block a couple of times and hung it in his garage until I took it off his hands. It's not the highest quality bike, but considering I'm currently roadbike-less, it's perfect.

The only thing really wrong with it is that the front derailleur is broken and that the wheels were never tensioned or trued properly. I've already installed Tiagra front and rear derailleurs and my GF is taking to wheels into the shop tomorrow for me. I've also replaced the bars with a set of Bontrager ergonomic bars, and I've got a set of Look pedals waiting to be put on (I have no cleats yet, heh.)

Oh, and I put the original saddle back on. That E3 saddle is horrible.
