What road bike do you have?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Changed the wheels and the crank out and focused this Diverge Sport into a comfort road bike. My lower back thanked me.

the bike I got my college daughter a few years back.

just stumbled on this pic of the barely-used bike I got my for my college daughter a few years ago, which she's still riding and taking quite good care of, loves it. Its a 2013 Specialized Allez Comp Apex Mid-compact size 52cm, that fits her perfect. those were temporary pedals I had on hand because it arrived without any, I got some nice SPD hybrid pedals for it. I got rid of the awful hard Specialized tires, and put a pair of Open Pavé on it which ride plush but fast, she is a light rider so they've lasted 5 years. it's her daily commuter, and wants to do a bike tour with it, too. oh yeah, I also put a narrow rack on it after taking this pic, an Axiom Streamliner DLX, and a Gotleib waterproof shopper bag so she was set for Portland, and Arcata.

BMC Teammachine SLR02 Three

Getting back on the bike, I just picked up the ‘19 BMC Teammachine bike today. Coming from the Specialized Allez Elite back from 2011.

2020 Specialized Roubaix Expert

My new 2020 Roubaix in Gloss Crimson. I love this bike so far. Was a little leery about switching from DA mechanical, but Ultegra Di2 is just better. Disc Brakes? They are also better, imo. And Future Shock 2.0? It's not an advertising gimmick, it really does work. It simply reduces the road chatter. Comfortable ride!

is it a road bike if it has a flat bar but you almost exclusively ride it on the road?

this has been my main bike of the last few years. technically its a hybrid, 3x8 gearing, 700x32 tires, v-brakes. but it rides quite nicely, and makes me happy.

this picture is from shortly after I built it. its since lost the fenders, half the junk on the bars, and the trunk bag is a lot smaller. and its not quite as shiny, and has a lot more dings and wear.

Bowman Palace R, Ltd. Edition paint
Campy Chorus 2x11
Custom wheels - Boyd rims on Onyx Racing hubs

Doing this in two posts as I need to get a couple in before I can post images

My ride's a Lightweight Urgestalt, full Super Record EPS 11, Lightweight Meilenstein rims on Conti GP Supersonic tyres with Lightweight finishing kit.
Very costly yet worth every single pound.

Can't post a pic because I'm new here and I haven't made 10 posts yet.

I found a sweet deal on an R5 frame over Black Friday weekend, so I decided to make the jump from my R3 to the R5...I just finished transferring everything over.

Wow. Wish I'd come across a black Friday deal on a R5 too. Well done.

I was originally shopping for a gravel/winter bike, but when I came across this, it was too good of a deal, and paint job, to pass up!

It's nice. This is my first bike and I haven't got my kit to put into it yet, but it can hold the entire kit and tube so it's real nice. Couple that with the internal cables, and the bike has a real clean look.
