eBay throwing a hissy fit against Google

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

eBay throwing a hissy fit against Google

Go search for your favorite bike part on Google and notice the lack of any eBay ads:

https://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...4D4DE45ECA2%7D

It's weird to see all those eBay ads missing when I'm researching a bike or bike component.

Shares of eBay traded up slightly to $31.67 on Thursday. Google shares were down about 0.4% at $503.30.
Interesting, but we do know who wears the pants in this relationship...

Whatever. There are people who have businesses for converting our tax dollars into civilian corpses in foreign countries, or helping defense contractors defraud the government, or thieving billions from utility-paying families in western states.

Google is an enemy? Sheesh! Get a life!

I also hear that Barney the dinosaur is also the antichrist. And Bert from Sesame Street is evil.

No kidding. I make my living on the internet. It is quite a bit more than entertainment for me.

Would you consider a company that maliciously cost you $ 3/4 million an enemy? Sheesh! I have a life despite the existence of Google.

Not that they're much better than telecom companies or the big two operating system manufacturers, but Google is reported as having the worst privacy standards in the tech industry.

Yeah -- they are an enemy. What would you call a supposed American Corp that refuses to comply with a Justice Dept request for search records of suspected terrorists yet complies with the Chinese Government to censor the search capabilites of the Chinese citizens -- all while compiling the worst privacy record of any internet company out there?

I don't get ads on Google. Little things like CustomizeGoogle, Adblock and Remove It Permanently solve that problem.

Amen to that! I really wanted to buy some but you know, being 18 and all that was kinda difficult. That would have been what? $5 on the $1 by now?
