Is there a reason.....?

Is there any reason why he's wearing an Ergo2 on the left and a Genius 6.6 on the right?

I've never seen this happen before.

CrimsonKarter21 06-17-07 09:31 PM

Probably a superstition.

svidrod 06-17-07 09:35 PM

how the heck can you tell?

I never would have noticed had it not been pointed out, but the buckles are clearly different -- the right shoe has a black background, the left, white.

maybe the different shoes fit each of his feet better. my left is slightly bigger than my right. hmm maybe i should try that...

Surferbruce 06-18-07 07:30 AM

the buckle straps are replaceable, i'm guessing they just didn't have a matching one.

+1 - That' just a different colored arch compression strap. The replacements are readily available....in black.....and usually that's it.

So same shoe just one is sporting a replacement strap.

Now go back to looking at the bikes....not the rider's feet. Sheesh...

Jared88 06-18-07 08:13 AM

Lol i didn't notice it too...maybe he lost his left 6.6 and his right ergo.:D

One leg from each disappearing twin.

CrimsonKarter21 06-18-07 09:24 AM

The right shoe has a silver toe, the left doesn't.

I'd say that it does. Looks like bad angle and lighting in this picture.

Maybe you ought to brighten your monitor a bit.

The right shoe

One thing different, his first velcro is tighten inward instead.

The left shoe

Notice how the yellow stripes show in my OP picture.

Cassadamius 06-18-07 11:11 AM

They're definitely different shoes. Regardless of color, there is only one velcro strap on his left shoe. Instead, it's that little band tighten thingy. Maybe it's a way to save a few bucks without getting too carried away.

^ he's right, they're definitely 2 different shoes...

on a side note, those Ergo 2 Carbon's are way too hot for words...

Cassadamius 06-18-07 11:14 AM

I agree. Those are some hot shoes. But they seem to me to be like designer fashions - when a model has them on the runway, they (and she) look great. But, if I were to actually see them out on the road, they may be overpowering. Maybe not. They're gorgeous.

Agreed, but already got an Ergo 1 and I am VERY satisfied so far.

Aquitard 06-18-07 11:20 AM

what I wanna know is why he looks like he's about to cough up a hairball :p
