Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2006 Pilot 2.1. Size 63cm. Swapped out handlebar/stem with Ritchey and added Ouzo fork. Still kept the Satellite fork for winter riding to use fenders. I have been happy with the ride.......... I still haven't figured out how to take a pic of a white bike.

Another 2006 Pilot 2.1 here. Size 52cm. She is for everyday commute and occasional weekend rides. Stock except following:
Koobi PRS Enduro, Cateye Strada Wireless CC, regular commute items, Stem set upside down.

She is sitting next to me while I'm working. 50% of the employees commute with bike so we have relatively bicycle-friendly working environment. Office is soon getting indoor bike racks and cycling shoes cabinet.

question for you Pilot owners, are the fork and rear stays really open enough to accomadate a larger tire like a 700 X 28 ?

I put some 700x28s on mine. Along with flat bars. I'll get a pic on tomorrow.

What the hey.

It's a humble 1.0 - stock with an Aliante fizik saddle, and now smaller tires than in the photo. Got it in mid July, and I've put almost 1200 miles on it so far.
