Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rapidex Bicycle?

I was wondering if anyone had any information on Rapiedex bicycles. A friend of mine has a 70's road bike that she called Rapidex and i was thinking of buying it. Does anyone have any info on this bike company?

Cross-Rapidex bikes

Made in Denmark. The Schwinn of Denmark. Bikes are well made and made for heavy duty use. If you can get your hands on one you'll be very happy with it. These are bikes that ride better and better with loads. Very stable bikes. Smooth runners Sells for $100-$300 depending on condition.
