Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fizik Arione

I recently received a Fizik Arione from my friend's dad and set it up on my felt. I was using a felt race saddle similar to the Selle Italia SLR. I am not sure on the fore/aft positioning because it is longer than the felt saddle. I took it to my LBS and they suggested to position it in the same spot because the widest part of the saddle was relatively the same. It feels like I am on the nose of the saddle too much. Do any of you guys ride on this saddle? I have only put about 50 miles on it, but I think I need to adjust it. Thanks.

I have this saddle on both of my road bikes. I position it as I would any other saddle.

50 miles isn't really enough time to get used to a saddle, but as long as you don't have any numbness I'd just try moving it forward a little bit and see if that makes you feel more comfortable on it.

Thanks SDRider, that's what I thought. I'll give it a slight bump forward and get some more miles down!
