Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nope, but I'd buy it for $1300. That's because the tires, chains, bartape, and the cable will need replacing soon if it hasn't been replaced.

Adjustable stem? Right...... that needs to be changed too.
Saddle and the bars tell me it's a woman who rides the bike (or a man with a female pelvis and a very narrow shoulder).

Wow, a 24 front chainring. Where the heck does the seller live? The frame alone costs about that much, but as mentioned above you need to figure out how much of the components you're going to have to swap. Talk them down to $1400/1500 just for fun. You know they expect an offer.

Check on ebay, last week there was a sweet BMC Streetfire for $1200, a Bianchi Giro w/Dura Ace for $1100 and a Specialized Tarmac comp. for not much more.
