Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Christ, when will the French wake up to economic reality? You can't strike everytime economic conditions change!

They think that disrupting the TdF will win them friends?

Les imbéciles!

are you refering to the "artists" that were holding up signs blocking/crowding the road a few stages ago?

all it did was slow down the peleton a bit, but it wasn't but 30 seconds to get through it

There was a protest today that held up
the peloton for a minute and a half, and the TdF
officials said it was part of the race!
Not sure what they were protesting, supporters
of Jose Bove or was it Jose Cuervo?
