What kind of wristwatch do you wear while riding?

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wore a Breitling Aerospace until a link popped off and I LOST the watch. Now I wear a Seiko or my HR Monitor/Altitude watch (either would only cost $100 or so to replace if lost or damaged, I learned my lesson). Do you wear a watch when you ride?

Sorry, I don't own a watch. After the strap broke on my watch 15 years ago, I found I didn't really need it. There are clocks everywhere: car, computer, cell phone, tv, alarm clock, oven, microwave ...... that I have a pretty good idea what time it is no matter where I am.

One of those Casios that sets the time from an atomic clock. Or no watch.

Polar on the bars w/ bracket. It shows me time and HR. No need to wear a watch.....thats just something to get hung up on the bars or shifter cables if I'm laying in the aero position.

I wear this old omega speedmaster pro from the 60's. I found it in some musty old box in my basement labeled Buzz for some reason. It's covered with some type of really fine dust, possibly of foreign origin, so I just use it for a beater.

Why wear a watch? Both my cheapo HRM and computer have the time. Plus the cell phone in my pocket.

You should have a Polar option?

Probably the most popular training watch?

None. There is a clock on my computer and phone. I don't carry a buggy whip either.

No watch? I suppose the next thing you'll tell me is no pinky ring or gold chains. Fughedaboudit.

Oakley Time Bomb, Ti with carbon fiber face. Tricker than my bike.

That is what I wear when I wear a watch. Probably 90% of the time I don't wear one. Between my computer and my HRM I know what time it is twice already.

Polar 720i is strapped to my handlebars. The Tissot chronograph is left at home, lest my sweat destroy the leather band.

Only if the ring and chains match the gold nugget watch.
