Mavic Ksyrium Elite Deal?
Found a set of these wheels...brand new off a brand new bike, for $350..just HOW good of a deal is this? I'm thinking pretty darn good...but anything I should be aware of with these? Counterfeit's out there? Any 'bad' years for them?
I'm riding Shimano 560's now, which really aren't THAT bad..I could save a few hundred grams, and get some stiffer wheels with the Mavic's I believe.

$350 is good for a new set. Are they the '07 models?
Prices for the Elites and SSC-SL's are all over the board. The market is saturated to the point where the price for a good, hardly ridden used set can be had downright cheap. I saw a really nice set of '05 Elites with Pro Race tires go for $227 on Ebay last week.

if they're 07's, then it's a good deal. if they're 06's, than it's not, because they were closed out by most shops for around $299 when the 07's were released. you can tell the difference because they have different decals, and the 06's are heavier...
