Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My Giant TCR ISP

Well I just took my new ride out for a brief 40 miles today and was thoroughly impressed with the frame. I had a Cervelo r3 before this and was skeptical about the BB stiffness of the Giant but I must say it is on par with the r3 or even stiffer. Definantly cant wait to race this. Any comments or suggestions welcome.
-Mike

Congrats on the new ride!

It's hard to see. Try to take some new pics outside or with a lot more light please.

Didnt even notice the backward effect myself until you said something. This was due to me not charginf my camera and having to use the small camera on my macbook. Better pictures with lighting to follow shortly.

Thats funny cuz I saw those pics and thought, "I wonder if he took those with a Macbook" since it took me a week to figure out how to reverse the pictures on mine.

Looks like a nice bike. I have a OCR1 thats held up well for 2.5 years. Giant makes good bikes.

Super nice! Almost the exact same setup I'm getting on mine except no Mavics and no ISP. Great to hear it's a nice ride.

Nice bike. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I take it you bought it as a full bike, not a frame? It's coming spec'd with Mavics now?

And btw flip it (the image that is.)

cool points.. some think its more in fashion to have a stack of 6cm of spacers rather then flip a stem and have a stronger connecting point to the fork tube.. but i noticed on the second stage of the TDF that every rider in the 3 man break away had their stem flipped to a +degree. kinda funny how no one was holding up signs saying FLIP IT!!.. fit before fashion. MHO.. now that horse has been soundly beaten..
